Facility Dogs and Crisis Response K9s are working dogs who are specially trained and partnered with a handler who works in health care, education, visitation, or an emergency responder facility.
At Guardian K9 Solutions we understand that mental health among first responders, students, staff, and crisis victims is of the utmost importance.

Our fully trained Facility Dogs and Crisis Response K9s are trained to perform a variety of service dog and therapy dog commands, such as opening doors, pressure therapy, trailing lost children, and MORE!
​
Their trained skills can be utilized to enhance therapies, increase participation, and reduce anxiety for all ages in a variety of environments. Additionally, the handler can integrate a facility dog into a variety of structured therapies and utilize the dog to facilitate positive social interactions.
Our Facility Dogs and Crisis Response K9s are specially selected for temperament, environmental stability, and reliability in any situation.​

Our dogs are not only specially selected for temperament, they have been socialized in a wide variety of environments including: public spaces, festivals, resturants children of all ages, small animals, public transportation, open stairways, elevators, hospitals, office work spaces, and schools. This type of socialization ensures that our dogs will be reliable and calm in any situation.

Our dogs can also be dually trained for the detection of narcotics, arson, explosives, or a variety of other odor sources.

Please note that our dogs do not replace professional interventions, but offer support in a moment of crisis.

** Additionally, we include in-depth handler training and lifetime support with all of our working dog programs.

The primary handler receives extensive training on how to handle the dog in public and care for the dog for its lifetime at work and home.
​
To graduate and be certified as a facility dog or crisis response team the dog and handler must pass our public access test.
​
Our dogs are also recieve the AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine, and AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen.
The average cost of our single-purpose Facility Dogs is $15,000.
The average cost of one of our dual-purpose Facility Dogs is $18,000.
